Sustainability Project Manager – Certification Systems (Focus Chemical Industry)

Your tasks

At Meo we are a close team of highly motivated, supportive and committed young professionals with a multitude of backgrounds. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for at least one more Sustainability Project Manager – Certification Systems in a permanent full-time position. If you feel we are a fit, we are looking forward to welcoming you in our team in at our head office in Cologne.

You will be responsible for consulting projects with a focus on circular economy, bioeconomy, renewable fuels and energy, plastic waste and recycling, chemical products and many more
You will perform data research, analysis and evaluations for specific customer requests and the preparation of reports and market studies
You will implement the concepts and processes together with our customers
You will support the further development of our service portfolio and manage proposals and tenders
You will be responsible for the whole project lifecycle including scheduling, stakeholder management, documentation, controlling, participation in client meetings and project workshops
You will perform company presentations at public national and international events

Your profile

University degree in chemistry preferred, as well as environmental engineering, chemistry, energy management, natural sciences, life sciences, agriculture or other science related fields
At least one year relevant professional experience in e.g. greenhouse gas calculations, sustainability certification or auditing for international supply chains
Good knowledge in RED methodology, GHG Protocol or similar standards and Lifecycle Assessments for different products would be of high advantage
Professional experience in project management
Excellent communication skills in German and English (both at least C1), other languages of advantage
Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group
High degree of initiative and commitment combined with an independent working style and pragmatic, hands-on attitude
Very good computer and MS Office skills as well as high general IT proficiency
Willingness and ability to travel internationally
